Drum & Bass Network Mix Competition 2017

To celebrate the launch of our new website, and to mark the forthcoming banging EP “Mutiny” from NEED FOR MIRRORS (released on 23rd June), we are very pleased to announce our partnership with the 2017 DRUM & BASS NETWORK mix competition.

We’re looking for DnB mixes that show imagination and flair, we want to hear some cutting edge tunes that you’ve found, and in return we’ve got some top exclusive prizes to give away.  This mix competition is open to anyone worldwide.

Here’s what is up for grabs for the top two mixes:

1^st prize

• Mix played on Roni Size’s Worldwide FM radio show “The Full Spectrum”
• Mix played on Drum & Bass Network radio show
• A pair of tickets to a Roni Size show of your choice (festivals not included)
• Full Cycle Records merchandise

2^nd prize

• Full Cycle Records merchandise
• Vivid Sounds merchandise

How to enter:

• Become a member of Drum & Bass Network on Facebook
• Mixes must be 30 minutes long, and DnB in genre.
• Mixes must include at least one track from the previous Need For Mirrors EP “HURTS” – to access the EP, please email promo@fullcyclelife.com with your Mixcloud profile link.
• Upload your mix to Mixcloud, using the square artwork graphic provided on Drum & Bass Network group (which you can download), naming your mix “DnB Network Mix 2017” and using the hashtag #fullcyclelife2017
• Share your mix on Drum & Bass Network in the comments under the competition graphic (it will be a pinned post).
• Follow Drum & Bass Network and Full Cycle Records on Mixcloud.

These parts must be adhered to, in order for your mix to be considered.

• Include a full track-list in the description of your upload
• Mixes with a minimum of 50 plays on Mixcloud will be shortlisted.
• Deadline for entries is 30^th June 2017.

Judging Process:

• Only mixes with the correct graphic, title, hashtag and which include one Need For Mirrors “HURTS” EP track will be considered.
• Only mixes with at least 50 listens on Mixcloud will be shortlisted.
• The team at Full Cycle Records, including Roni Size, along with Drum & Bass Network will then choose the winner and runner up.
• Winners will be notified by the 15^th July and the winning mixes will be included in August 2017 radio shows.

Terms and Conditions:

In addition to the terms of entry, the guest list ticket prize will only be given to those over 18 years of age (or older depending on a venue’s own entrance policy).  Travel is not included in the ticket prize, and does not include festival performances.  Please also refer to Mixcloud’s terms
